Parade starts at 8th Avenue and Pearl Street. It heads west along 8th, turns left/south on Lincoln Street, turns left/east on 11th Avenue, turns left/north on Pearl Street back to the corner of 8th.

Register To Participate!

Submit an application before August 23 and take advantage of Earlybird entry fees. The last day to submit an application is Sept. 15. All entry fees are nonrefundable.

Parade Theme & Categories

This year’s theme is LiGHTEN UP! To celebrating all that makes Eugene unique, amazing and awe-inspiring.

Categories are:

Square-Yellow

Marching entries

Square-Green

Animal entries

Square-Red

Musical entries

Square-Purple

Unique, nonmotorized vehicles

Square-Blue

Special features, such as puppetry, oversized props, etc.

All entries must be human-powered or electric-powered. Vehicles of any kind powered by petroleum are not allowed.

Safety

For the safety of everyone concerned, parade participants may not hand out, throw, or distribute any materials of any kind to spectators along the parade route.
